What is Green?
"To us Green is more than a color. It's a commitment! "

Did you know that compact fluorescent bulbs reduce the mercury pollution from the single largest U.S. source: coalfired power plants? Probably the most important thing that people need to understand about compact fluorescents is that two thirds to three quarters of the energy associated with lighting can be reduced just by switching your light bulbs from incandescent to Compact Fluorescent Bulbs.

The Mercury-free lighting market transformation to light-emitting diodes (LEDs) is also advancing at a rapid pace. LED's are perhaps the most promising mercury-free alternative on the horizon. They have many advantages over traditional Halogen and incandescent sources. Lighting efficiency of the new high power LED light bulbs is nearly ten times that of incandescent lights, and twice that of the best compact fluorescent lights. LED's have exremely long life, up to 50,000 hrs: offer reduced power consumption, lower maintenance costs, and are UV and IR free.

Where is the lighting world headed?
Green and Energy Saving initiatives being rapidly legislated, all point to the emergence of "LED" Technology as the future. The question remains how long will the bridge technology of Compact Fluorescents last until the pricing and performance levels make "LEDs" the light source of choice.

At "Green Energy Lighting" we believe the future is now, so we are agressively searching out the best quality and value LED proudcts, from around the world to bring them to you and the marketplace today.

About Green Energy Lighting, Corp.
We would like to thank you all for your support of Green Energy Lighting Corp.
We constantly are on the look out for ways to become "greener" as a company. Recently we partnered with Veolia and their recyclepak program to help recycle light bulbs and other industrial waste products.
